Jack Palmieri and Dan Varian have added a couple of harder sit starts to the Thornhow Block in Grisedale — a solid and accessible boulder that has seen some good recent development.
Extra Sprinkles 8A — FA: Dan Varian : The left sit start to Sprinkle Party. Begin with the right hand on the obvious big pinch and left hand low on the arête. Either hand can go first from there.
Hawthorn Party 8A+ — FA: Jack Palmieri : Begin as per the Hawthorn sit start, left hand in the undercut and right hand on the sloper, then head immediately left and under the roof to join and finish up Sprinkle Party.
