The prolonged dry spell has seen the usual flurry of activity at Hell Moss – a crag which takes some time to fully dry out. Amongst the numerous repeats, there have also been a few additions to the crag’s roster:
Etheral Thing (8A): climbs the steep, clean line between Hellboy and Functional Junkie, eliminating the the two big “right-angle flake-jugs” on HB, along with any hand holds left of these. Start at the base of FJ, pull on and match into undercuts, before heading straight up to the lip (and better holds above) via a tenuous board style sequence, revolving around an obvious undercut. Kroenen Extension (8A): Starts as for Kroenen but continues below the lip to the undercut of Hell Hath No Fury/HYFR and go to the lip from here. FA Jack Palmieri.
Hell Girl (8A): This one starts as for Hell Boy but continue below the lip to the undercut of Hell Hath No Fury/HYFR and go to the lip from here. FA Jack Palmieri.
