Rent Buoys at Old Buoys

Tom Newberry has sent a fine new addition at the Old Buoys Circuit, St. Bees Head – North. Rent Buoys climbs the obvious wall to the right of the area classic, Big Buoy, on the walls at the back of the sector. The line goes at somewhere around the 7a/V6 to 7a+/V7 mark, although it is pretty morpho. As such big guys may find it on the easy side of the grade and shorties may have a time of it.
Also of note, Tom snapped a hold off the end of Bad Buoyz, taking a nasty fall, from which he was lucky to escape relatively unscathed. Suffice as to say the grade of this line may now have altered from the 7b+/V8 originally offered.
In other news, Chris Clements has added a number of neat looking additions to the Rigg Lane boulders at the Windy Clough circuit. Three problems from 6a+/V3 to 6c+/V5 have been climbed, and we will add these to the guide ASAP.
