Credo 8a+ - Shuck's Lair

Greg Chapman has completed a sustained link at the Shuck's Lair, Fairy Steps. This navigates the full left to right girdle of the buttress, starting along The Cappel and finishing at the break above the start of p10 (see topo).
Despite being a traverse of sorts Greg felt the line was of the highest quality, involving a complex and interesting sequence - read easy to cock up. Greg enthused: "I feel it's as good, if not better than any of the other sustained lines I've climbed in the South Lakes, such as Cloning Technology, Transgenic or Anesthesia".
He went on to say: "As to the grade; it's been a while since I climbed something as long and sustained so I’m a bit out of practice when it comes to grading something of it's length and involvement. I'd say at least 8a/V11 and I’m inclined to think more like 8a+/V12, due to it's lack of any sort of a rest hold".
The line has been named Credo and has been added to the revised topo for the crag - please also check this for updated access details. This can be found via the Shuck's Lair page.
