Kern Knotts Boulders

Kern KnottsArea Summary

Just south of Great Gable, below Kern Knotts crag, are a number of boulders which have been climbed on over the years and a few lines recorded. The blocks are directly below the classic HVS route, The Buttonhook Route.

Whilst we are not suggesting you go up here specifically for a day’s bouldering, the blocks are well worth a look for warming up or a lunchtime play, if you’re at the crag for a day's routing. They actually offer some stiff moves! The topo available here was created by Phil Rigby and kindly given to us to offer via the FRCC.
