Seathwaite Circuit - Duddon
Area Summary
Set in a beautiful location on the western slopes of the Seathwaite fells, in the Duddon Valley, this fine little bouldering circuit has grown in recent times from a small, very esoteric circuit of just a handful of problems, to a decent little bouldering venue with a compact core of climbs, in a family friendly setting and with relatively easy access.
Whilst the Seathwaite Circuit does include some distant satellite offerings, documented for prosperity and the very keen, the climbing centring on the Lingy Stone and the excellent walls and blocks of Horse How, directly above, now offer around 30 to 35 superb bloc and traverse problems (from 2/V0 to 7c/V9) on a sumptuous (if fairly rough) rock, and in a glorious position...
