Area Summary

A small but well set venue, positioned in a prominent position with great views above Bowness on Windermere. The area essentially centres on a single escarpment, which offers around 12 pleasant, easier straight up problems and a couple of harder traverses – left to right is The Classic Traverse (6c/V4) and right to left, keeping feet just above the ground, is The Low Traverse (7a+/V7) – these are the best and most frequented problems.
