Cam Crag

Area Summary

A lovely spot some 45 minutes from Stonethwaite campsite. The boulders are set on a high platform which receives plenty of ventilation, whilst the landing on the main blocks are also very good. The area is well combined with a visit to the nearby Langstrath Boulders.

The obvious huge boulder that dominates the scene, is 'The Pyramid'. This has three good lines up its south face, all with excellent landings. The fluttery arête above the pool, gives Pool Arête, and two lines on its east face, Gunner’s Wall taking a central line up the face, and Stream Arête on the right hand side. These are all must-do's for first time visitors.
